Nintendo president vows to keep next-gen game prices low
Nintendo has already vowed its next generation console will be cheaper than its competitors. Now it's making the same promise about its games.He also talks about some of the exciting feature of the Revolution such as SD cards for storage. Reading this makes me feel that Nintendo could really pull off a coup with this console. If they can make it cheap enough to aim directly as users who just want to play games then I'm sure they'll have a hit. With XBox360 & PS3 fighting it out in the more expensive multi-function department.
Satoru Iwata, president of Nintendo of Japan, told me last week that while the company has no control over what its partners ask for their games, "I cannot imagine any first party title could be priced for more than $50."
