BBC NEWS : Video game legend criticises SonyJeff Minter should know all about smug console makers having been associated with Atari right up until their demise. Of course his comments are obviously true. As far as I can see the PS3 is the next CD-i or 3DO. It's late, overpriced and trying to be too many things.

Interesting, you point about it being the next 3DO is a good one. The price point is almost exactly the same, the real different of course is that the Playstation brand is gigantic.
I’d love Jeff Minter work for Apple - do some (future) iPod games! Music, odd controls, and retro graphics, what a combo.
